Senior Network Engineer - Hedge Fund, CCIE, Security, Telco, Design

The client is a firmly established, internationally renowned hedge fund with a reputation for hiring top class talent across the business. They currently have a requirement for Senior Network Engineer. The role requires an exceptionally gifted networking genius who can be involved in all aspects of architecture, design, programming and implementation for the Cisco network. You will be tasked with developing solutions for the firm's infrastructure that will be highly flexible, secure and robust enough to cope with extensive future growth. This will include identifying and researching new and innovative technologies and tools for future use.

Candidates will have several years experience working with large enterprise sized networks and will have ideally achieved CCIE certification (preferably the lab exam). You will have an excellent understanding of network and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and MPLS. Your knowledge will span networking Routers and Switches, network security and access control and also telephony technologies including VOIP and QoS. An excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level traffic analysis is essential and experience with Unix Systems administration (Solaris, Linux) is a plus. A strong academic record is also regarded as a must have.
