Our client, a Tier One Investment Bank, is looking for a Network Engineer.

The candidate will need to provide day to day support for the LAN/WAN network environment in terms of responding to incidents and requests received from the service desk and project teams.

The candidate will be responsible for the stability and security of all network systems, will need to perform status checks, produce reports and undertake problem identification and root cause analysis. There is also an element of Project Management and a certain level of autonomy within this role. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate with a high level of networking experience within a financial services environment, ideally Investment Banking. You will need in-depth knowledge of a Cisco including routing/switching (EIGRP, OSPF), Firewalls and security.

Educational certificates such as CCIE, CCNP and CCSA are considered normal practice for this position.
