IT Operations Analyst - fund management, Application Support, SQL, programming (Java, Excel/VBA or Scripting), Middleware Messaging, London (City).

Leading investment management institution based in the City of London is looking to recruit an IT Operations Analyst to work as part of a team to provide on going support to vendor package and bespoke business applications. As an IT Operations Analyst you will be working within a busy trading environment to resolve operational issues, act as an application administrator for business systems and Middleware Messaging in addition to coordinating patches, fixes, upgrades and enhancements.

The right candidate for the role will have; a background in supporting applications in a Blue Chip environment, the ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently, learn complex systems effectively in order to provide support to business users as well as sound technical experience in SQL and programming which may include; Java, Excel VBA or Scripting. Candidates with a degree education and knowledge of trading and Back Office functions within an FX environment would be of particular interest.
