My client is a leading finance house based in the City. Due to extensive change throughout the organisation, the company are looking for an experienced individual to manage all aspects of information security and data protection.

This individual would be responsible for defining a robust and comprehensive security policy, recognising the needs of the business and implementing the proper personnel, procedures and protocols that are compliant to UK regulations. You will be tasked with chairing committees and meetings involving business lines including compliance, audit, risk management etc in order to align the strategies of the bank and the overall security policy. In addition this person will take overall ownership for change projects to improve security or data protection across the business. This will involve running a team of individuals on a day to day and additional resource ad-hoc project basis.

Candidates will have a background in financial services, preferably Investment Banking and experience of working in an international organisation. CISSP of CISM is essential as is direct line management experience of small team. You will have previous experience of defining and implementing security policy and an excellent knowledge of generic Information Security best practice and Data Protection Principles.
