Our client, a leading US Investment Bank is looking to recruit a Database Manager to work on a large initiative to revamp and expand its digital product offering to support the existing client business within the banks Fixed Income Trading group.

We are looking for a hands-on Database Manager, who can lead a team of 5-10 developers, be able to work independently, setting strategic data goals for the system and successfully directing the team toward meeting them. You should be able to communicate effectively with business analysts, interpreting their data requirements, and advising developers on all their data related needs.

Technically, you will need to be strong in either Sybase or DB2 administration and performance tuning, Infomatica ETL, and Datamodelling. Ideally, you will have a good understanding of the institutional trading business for Interest rate and credit products and have a proven history delivering complex applications to a tight budget.
