My client is a London based financial services software vendor specializing in the provision of payment systems to the banking community. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to take on a program of deliveries for a new client.

Initially the successful candidate will manage a project for a tier 1 global banking client. This will then lead onto managing a program of deliveries for a new client. Your role will include the management of day to day commercials, client relationships and delivery. You will be involved in the evolution of the company's delivery and development methodologies, and so you will shape process as the company grows.

Applicants must be experienced Project Managers working in a senior role in finance. You should have a good understanding of the full project life cycle. Candidates should have in-depth experience in running and managing High Ticket Value and Fixed Priced projects. You must be able to display experience with full P&L and commercial responsibility. You must have a thorough understanding of the development and delivery life cycle acquired in a commercial organization through managing delivery. Applicants will ideally have experience of working with external clients, so candidates from a consultancy or other software vendor would be ideal. Experience within banking payments would also be advantageous.
