Application Support Manager - Fund Management, City of London, Permanent

Our client, a Fund Manager based in the City of London is currently looking for a Application Support Manager. The role will involve managing the support and enhancement of a varied range of in-house developed applications. You will be responsible for leading a team of 2-4 Application Support Analysts/Programmers and might at times have up to 10 Matrix reports.

Apart from managing the day to day support, ad hoc duties include anything from managing the systems BAU budget and providing estimates to being responsible for external electronic links and small enhancements to the systems being supported.

Candidates MUST come from an Asset Management background with at least 5 years experience within this industry. In regards to the support aspect, candidates must have experience with a wide range of technologies including Legacy, web and Middleware systems. As you will be managing a small team, previous managerial or team lead experience is also essential and should include having previously conducted team meetings, appraisals, etc.
