PMO LEAD - IT, CHANGE, INSURANCE

A leading global City based Insurer is currently seeking a PMO Lead on an initial 6 month contract. Joining at a time of significant internal change and business growth, the PMO Lead will be accountable for reviewing as-is PMO practices, governance mechanisms and controls and defining a road map for change based on best practice recommendations. Following successful delivery of an effective, efficient PMO model, the PMO Lead will hand over running of the practice to a perm employee. The PMO Lead will also review the inhouse delivery methodology to ensure it is adequate.

Candidates must have significant experience in establishing PMO capabilities in Financial Services environments. Broad exposure to a variety of environments is expected in order to bring a genuine set of best practices to the table. Experience across Governance, Assurance, Resourcing, Financial Management, and Portfolio-level Reporting/MI is expected. Refined stakeholder management ability will be fundamental to driving through proposed changes.
