A Project Manager is urgently required by our client, a leading financial services business company based in Nottingham to deliver a critical regulatory programme on a permanent basis. The project manager will work on many change and remediation initiatives relating to the implementation of a compliance programme around GDPR.   

This programme is multiyear in length and truly Greenfield. For this reason, this person must be able to drive complex regulatory change projects from inception to completion and be capable facing off to stakeholder groups across the whole business (as GDPR has touch-points business wide). This will include stakeholders in DigitalOperations, Marketing, International, HR, Compliance and Legal. The client has also made clear they are looking for PM’s with some delivery experience as the work streams within GDPR that relate to Personal Data, Client Data and internal reference data.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Greenfield programme within a business that is growing their change function at unprecedented levels. This is also a rare opportunity to get initial exposure to GDPR in what will be the clients most visible programme for at least the next 2 years.

Skills required:
  • Experience delivering projects within a complex Regulatory programme of work. Regulatory programmes relating to Personal Data, Security, Technology, Client data, KYC/ AML style programmes are highly desirable
  • Capable of managing the integration of complex IT systems, business processes, implementing governance and control frameworks, engaging relevant technical and SME teams and applying appropriate oversight and control to achieve the programme deliverables against tight time schedules.
  • Strong risk management experience
  • Comfortable working at Programme level (when required), alongside CTO, DPO and Head of Security peers.
  • Confident in presenting content to experienced senior stakeholders (Director / Board level)
