Cornwallis Elt is a fully integrated recruitment firm, with the comprehensive range of services to be expected from a market leading recruiter.

All of these services are flexible and very much geared towards individual clients, candidates and situations; we are not a template led recruiter and we acknowledge that every piece of work presents its own challenges and unique circumstances.

Internally we have structured the business into distinct teams (see Our Markets) to encourage the development of true domain specific expertise and within these teams our Consultants are focused on designated client accounts. Perhaps a little differently to our competition, our Consultants are not divided into contract and permanent teams, but instead will work with our clients to provide the best possible solution for them on either front. We believe that by doing so, our Account Managers can achieve greater knowledge and closer relationships with our clients than we could achieve with separate points of contact for contract or permanent recruitment. At the same time, we appreciate that there exist subtle differences in approaches to contract and permanent recruitment and we invest significant time and effort in our internal training programmes to make sure our Consultants and Researchers are equipped to deal with both.

Across all of our divisions and services, our Consultants employ a mixture of sourcing strategies. Traditionally our business has been founded on proactive rather than reactive methods around headhunting, networking and building what we call our “Silos” of candidate communities with defined business, functional, technical or applications skill sets. Internally we use what is widely considered as the leading state of the art Cloud based recruitment software on the market, Bullhorn CRM, which we employ to maintain our Silos and broader candidate databases. In addition to this we also have access to a number of major job boards and Internet based advertising sites, plus of course access to the growing online social and business networks.

The 21st Century poses many challenges to running a business, one of which is to allow for the continuous availability of our services and to guarantee that our clients, candidates and contractors can rely upon on us to be completely operational.

Subsequently all of our internal technology solutions have been designed to maximise our efficiencies whilst ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and disaster recovery. We have made significant investment in our own technology stack to provide a flexible solution for our Consultants as well as ensuring that we can seamlessly switch to DR mode should it be required. The company has selected the leading Cloud based recruitment CRM system, which combined with Cloud based email and remote access for all of our Consultants allows us to continue to operate whatever the circumstances.
