One of our global London Market Insurance clients is currently on the search for an experienced BI Analyst to join their Business Insight Team on an initial 6-month contract.
 
Here you will play an essential part in assisting with the design and delivery of BI and reporting to provide value and insight across the wider group through building robust Power BI dashboards. You will work closely with the wider team to assist in querying of systems and databases such as SQL Server and support an organisation who is going through a vast amount of data modernisation. 
 
Experience needed:
  • Solid experience as a business analyst and report developer in the Business Intelligence domain.
  • Experience in producing PowerBI reporting solutions.
  • Experience of using a variety of tools and techniques to engage with technical and non-technical users to elicit, understand and accurately document business requirements.
  • Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into good solution designs.
  • Experience in Dashboarding & Data Visualisation skills.
  • Experience of querying B.I. systems and databases such as SQL Server and OLAP / Tabular cubes.
  • SQL and Excel skills including using PowerPivot.
  • Good Data Modelling skills.
  • Experience in the London Insurance Market / Financial services industry.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join a highly successful global business for an initial six-month contract with likelihood of extensions.
