Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to assist with requirements gathering and documentation for a major software project within the organisation.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and converting requirements ready for the development team. Each documentation package will be signed off by the Delivery Director.
- Working with key business stakeholders / internal technical team to create detailed requirements docs
- Translating requirements into working documents for the development team
- Assistance in co-ordinating with business owners and users to develop and deliver the project in the most efficient manner.
- Working iteratively with the development team to refine and tighten requirements within an agile framework.
- Produce documents including Design Documents / Specs, Acceptance/Testing Criteria, Release Notes
We would require the Business Analyst to have demonstrable experience in previous engagements that would include:
- Working with development teams both onsite and nearshore
- Working with key business stakeholders and clients
- Previous experience in creating detailed requirements documents
- Excellent Communication skills
- Excellent ability to convert business requirements into documentation ready for software development
- Someone with knowledge of broadcast content and associated metadata, such as subtitling
- Some knowledge of compliance would be useful
