A Technical Lead is needed by a world leading Financial Services Organization to act at as the SME in London for their Enterprise Data Platform. This role will require 75% hands on development, coupled with 25% leadership and management responsibilities. The product is a leading data analytics system that provides pricing and reference data services on a global scale.
The technology stack is C++ with Sybase on Linux and will also involve some Python engineering. The reason for the hire is to bridge the knowledge gap between the US and India resources and to act as a lead in improving the team in Bangalore.
Experience Required
- Expert level C++ engineering in modern C++ with Linux and Sybase
- Experience leading a team of engineers ideally with offshore team management or vendor management
- Ability to deliver key projects to stakeholders and act as the technical liaison
- Be able to drive development teams and improve performance
