My client, a rapidly expanding and market leading SME Finance FinTetch, is seeking an experience permanent CTO to join their London based office and help facilitate the growth of their business. You would be partnering with fellow C-suite leaders devising and own the technology strategy during an ambitious time of growth for the firm.
As the CTO you would be running a team of circa 30 technical employees, the intangible skills they are looking for are high ambition, strong leadership and communication skills as well as someone who can come in with fresh ideas and strong innovation. They are looking for someone who has been a CTO at a startup or early stage FinTech – this is a must, helping define structure in the technology team and take them on this journey.
This role reports into the CEO and will require you to be both strategic and hands-on where necessary. They are looking to drive positive change within their technology function, as well as protecting their infrastructure and technology.
Key skills:
- Prior experience as a hands-on CTO at an early stage FinTech/Start-Up – have to have been part of scaling up a business from a technology perspective
- Strong executive level stakeholder management experience
- Extensive knowledge within IT – Development, Data & Infrastructure
- Strong experience working in Agile environments
- Out-sourcing/third party knowledge – and knowing when to utilise them rather than the in-house team
- High energy and results driven – capable of being a leader with the company and bringing in innovative ideas
