Enterprise Architect - London Market Insurance, Azure, Cloud, Permanent, London
Our client, a leading London Market insurer, is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join them on a permanent basis in London.
The company is aiming to modernise one of their existing platforms adopting a 'Cloud First Strategy'. You will be responsible for building the roadmap for modernisation, as well as support the company's growth ambitions through providing suggestions into the company's technology strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Determining the technology system architecture, functional design and ensuring it is aligned to company business goals
- Documenting the processes using multiple architecture model.
- Generating graphic representations and abstracts of the system architecture models
- Evaluating existing IT systems for exposure or weaknesses that could compromise performance, security or efficiency
- First-hand experience developing and building models based on The Enterprise FrameworkImplementing shared infrastructure to optimise information management systems
Key skills:
- Previous experience of working in Insurance, particularly in the Lloyd’s Market
- Expertise in one cloud platform, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Strong knowledge of architecture and integration patterns
- Excellent understanding of cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- 5+ years of experience
