My client, an exciting fintech that have created a DLT Corporate Bonds trading platform, is seeking a Project Manager to join their London based team on a permanent basis. There are a number of exciting and versatile initiatives upcoming, including the UK launch in January, US and EU expansion as well as trading platform build outs and enhancements, client onboarding and vendor implementations, they require
You will be working in an IT based team reporting directly to the programme manager, working alongside a number of the vendor teams globally, running projects to build, upgrade and deploy a revolutionary DLT based Fixed Income ecosystem, as well as implement and support back office systems. You will be delivering in an agile methodology and be a key part of this small IT team to ensure successful delivery and launch as well as take control of a number of other projects coming up. Due to the team being quite small, they need someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and you will NEED to be motivated and a self starter.
To be successful in this role you will need;
- Proven Project Management experience in the Financial Services Industry / Fintech
- Experience working in Capital Markets and ideally Fixed Income
- Experience delivering IT Software projects / platforms
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management
- A self-starter who is happy to work in an unstructured environment
- Ability to get into the detail and collaborate with other teams
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall, and formal PM qualifications is highly desirable
