A Senior DevOps Engineer is sought after by a leading global Investment Bank to work the central technology function that looks after their KYC business. You will join a global team responsible for ensuring that infrastructure and applications used in this area are highly available, scalable and resilient, helping an ongoing modernisation drive with a focus on automation and microservices architecture.
They are looking for someone with proven experience in DevOps to support global feature teams through building and integrating CI/CD pipelines, managing and enhancing their Docker/Kubernetes container platform as well as troubleshooting and conflict resolution.
Additionally, you will be bridging the gap between the communications of teams in various time zones, helping with the delivery of daily production in a fast-paced and complex environment.
Skillsets and experience beneficial for the role:
- Proven DevOps Engineer experience in a top tier Financial Services organisation / blue chip company
- Extensive experience using Kubernetes and Docker for containerisation.
- Deep knowledge of automation and CI/CD, preferably with Jenkins
- Knowledge of cloud platforms ideally GCP
- Excellent communications skills
