Senior Java Engineer – Google Cloud, GCP, Microservices, Trade Finance, Corporate Bank
A Senior Java Engineer (VP) is needed by a world leading Bank to work within their rapidly growing Corporate Bank to build new applications as part of a brand-new feature team. This will be focused on engineering two main client facing applications for Trade Finance.
This is an area of the Bank that has received major investment and is a key focus for the Bank’s growth and development over the next 5 years. It is also the first area to adopt GCP offering unique technical challenges and the adoption of cutting-edge technology. They follow an event driven architecture utilizing microservices and the applications are new requiring greenfield development.
Key Skills Required
Expertise in Java Engineering with knowledge of microservices and multithreading including Spring frameworks
Skilled in building productive networks to drive collaboration, re-use and knowledge sharing
Experience in solution design tools and techniques with ability to make design decision trade-offs
Experience in building cloud based, distributed, highly available and fault tolerant applications.
Experience in building large scale and highly available Application Programming Interface (API’s) – both internal and external.
