My client, a leading financial services organisation, are currently looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join the organisation on an initial 6 month fixed term contract basis.
The role will focus on desktop and GUI testing, joining a well-established development function who are currently in the early stages of a GUI refresh project. The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated, proactive problem solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong Financial Markets knowledge, ideally with a focus on Fixed Income and Equities.
Candidates must have:
- Extensive experience within financial services, with particular knowledge of Fixed Income and Equities products
- Proven experience in desktop/GUI testing (ideally within Front-Office)
- Worked with WPF / .Net testing tools
- Exposure to automation and best practices
- ISTQB qualification
- Worked with JIRA or alternative similar tools
