Our client, a leading multinational investment bank, is seeking a Data Archive Onboarding Engineer to join their Strategic Data Archive team, an internal service dedicated to helping applications implement effective records management for regulatory compliance, decommissioning, and optimization.
In this role, you will provide hands-on support during the onboarding process, collaborating with various teams to define record content and metadata, configure archiving solutions, facilitate testing, and produce defensible documentation showing the archiving completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver responsive customer service to help internal clients manage records management risks effectively
• Communicate the value and technical aspects of our archiving services, addressing inquiries promptly
• Document and approve requirements, including record content and metadata
• Identify and implement efficient solutions to meet client needs
• Manage expectations and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders
• Configure archiving in test environments, making configuration changes in a code repository
Skills and Experience:
• Proficient with relational databases, SQL, Oracle, JSON, and Excel
• Experience in records management
• Knowledge of investment banking and financial markets is essential
• Client-facing experience implementing IT solutions in a global financial institution
