Permanent – Hybrid Working
A specialist London-based Lloyd's Market insurer is currently looking for a Vendor Manager to join the team in a newly formed position on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Director of Operations you will assist in the transition to a multivendor operating model by becoming the driving force in building, and having accountability for managing, the vendor management framework for cloud-based outsourcing. You will work closely with various internal teams to bridge the gap between my client and their portfolio of vendors while having hands-on oversight and management of strategic third-party partnerships.
While embedding and enhancing vendor management frameworks you will play great influence in the day-to-day operations, strengthen business resilience, and ensure an agile approach to change and transformation is achieved for their evolving operating model.
Key requirements for the role include:
- 5+ years’ experience managing outsourcing operations at scale in domains such as customer service, process management, operational excellence or information technology
- Be an expert on multi-vendor enabled organisational design within a regulated environment
- Hand-on experience managing vendor performance, including measurement, monitoring and reporting activities, and practice with remediation strategies.
- Strong effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of transforming operations to provide best-in-class customer experience through step-function innovation and continuous improvement.
