Business Analyst – Investment management
6-month contract, Inside IR35 £600p/d
Working remotely for now / flexible working options moving forward
A global investment management firm are looking for a Business analyst to join on a contract basis. You would be part of a team who are responsible for delivering a major transformation portfolio for a dynamic and growing firm.
You would be helping to build out the centralised investment operations function for the organisation, identifying and delivering end-end business change projects.
Responsibilities
Lead Business Analyst requirements on a daily basis and enable new initiatives
Liaise with Stakeholders at C-Suit level to understand their needs
Gather, document, and manage requirements to delivery stage
Help create test cases and user acceptance testing
Produce project documentation i.e. process maps
Liaise with other members of the business i.e. project managers and business stakeholders
Support project delivery, including scope, timeframe, budget, and quality
Requirements - Essential
Requirements elicitation and documentation
Experience developing and building compelling business cases
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to present at all levels of the organisation
Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of seniority
Experience defining User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and co-ordination of UAT
Strong analytical and data gathering skills with the ability to create solid yet simple documents
Experience or knowledge of defining and mapping business processes / workflows and applying a range of process re-engineering techniques
Attention to detail with good business awareness, project delivery and organisational skills
Experience working within an investment management firm
Business Analyst Accreditation e.g. PMI-PBA, CBAP or CSSBB
Experience working in an Agile and a Waterfall environment
