Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy focuses on and monitors three main areas with the aim of improving our environment whilst contributing to the well-being of the communities in which we operate.
Diversity & Inclusion – providing training and awareness for all staff.
Establishing and maintaining suitable work conditions for all.
Championing a supportive and respectful environment.
Encouraging and providing structured development opportunities both personally and professionally .
Environmental – Cornwallis Elt ‘Green’ Policies
Driving Green initiatives – through technology as well as processes.
Extensively using recycling facilities.
Focusing on energy efficiency.
Making annual company charity contributions .
Regular sporting and charitable events – examples include the Standard Chartered 5k Great City Race, London Marathon, Go Sober October/Stoptober, Veganuary, The National 3 Peaks and Yorkshire 3 Peaks hikes.
Some charities we have supported recently include: Futuremakers, a global initiative to tackle inequality and promote greater economic inclusion for young people in our communities, The Media Trust, a charity working in partnership with the creative industry to give marginalized groups a stronger voice, Alzheimers Society and The Prince’s Trust Mentoring Scheme, helping young people into education, training or work.
