My client, a leading global data consultancy are looking for a Head of Quality Assurance to join their team on a permanent basis in London.
The role will be responsible for rapidly leading their rapidly growing QA team, whilst establishing, building out, and running their entire Quality Assurance operations.
You will be responsible for the defining and leading the testing to ensure business readiness as well as collaborating with key stakeholders within various regions and to share and learn lessons as well as ensuring alignment. A key part of this role is will also include defining and implementing the key acceptance phase to validate ETL’s as well as carrying out Critical Business Testing to validate the platform capability. You will also be a mentor and coach to the QA engineers allowing them autonomy to work together to create value as well as guiding teams across the business to better understand the difference between testing and quality.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Head of QA within a complex and large-scale environment.
- Extensive experience of using ETL’s
- Data load experience using various tools.
- Understand defect management tools i.e Jira, Azure DevOps etc.
- Extensive Test Management delivery experience.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing a team.
- The ability to build and maintain key relationships with senior stakeholders within regional/global environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
