This is an initial 6 month contract paying up to £750/day via an Umbrella company. Hybrid working.
Our client, a leading Investment Management firm based in the City of London, are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join their Information Security team on an initial 6-month contract basis via Umbrella, with potential extension. This is an exciting opportunity to work on security projects focusing on the migration of an external firewall onto Azure cloud, whilst acting as a security SME and a security champion throughout project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience within an enterprise scale firm and financial services experience would be beneficial. The successful candidate will have solid understanding of network security operations and engineering fields and have the communication skills to be able to outline the project to business stakeholders.
Experience required:
- Experience implementing and working with CASB and EDR products
- Demonstrable experience working with vulnerability scanners
- Knowledge of security monitoring tools and frameworks
- Experience having worked with SOC teams would be beneficial
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Office365 ecosystem is essential
