Senior C++ Developer - Market Access - Connectivity, FIX, Python, Linux, Financial Services – London/Hybrid - (Up to £180,000 basic salary + bonus + benefits)

A Global Quantitative and Systematic Investment Manager based in London, is looking for an experienced C++ Engineer with Market Access / connectivity experience to join their Global Market Access team on a permanent basis. The client are prepared to pay up to £180,000 basic (dependant on experience) + an attractive bonus and benefits package.

As a key member of the team, you would be tasked with the design, development, and deployment of Trading Gateways using C++, Python, FIX Protocols and other modern tools. In addition to this, you will take ownership of numerous aspects of exchange.

This opportunity requires excellent communication as you will be working with different members across all teams in the business, including Quant Analysts, Risk Officers, Traders and other senior members of the front office.

Ideal skillset:

• A minimum of 4 years’ of experience with C++.
• Python and Bash scripting are essential
• Knowledge of financial markets
• FIX trading protocol is appreciated and trading gateway
• Strong educational background
• Confident working with a team
