2nd Desktop Support Analyst - IT –2nd Line Support – Service Now - ITIL

Our client, an Investment Manager based in the City, are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join them on an initial 6 month contract. This will be to join their Information Technology support team and will be responsible for dealing with 1000+ users globally.

This role is paying up to £350 per day depending on skills and experience.

The successful candidate will act as second line support, helping to resolve incidents and dealing with service requests. They will provide support to multiple teams across multiple locations with a focus on application software and hardware as well as working on the software deployment and day to day work in order to keep the server infrastructure running.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Asset management or Financial services.

Key skills:
  • 3+ years relevant IT support experience
  • Ideally have experience within Asset Management or Financial Services
  • Experience with Service Now
  • Experience working with an ITIL framework
  • Experience security patching Windows Servers for vulnerabilities
