Front Office Application Support - Fund Management; Production Support, OMS, thinkFolio, Charles River, Markit EDM

We are seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst (contract) for a well-known, city based institutional investment manager, to join them on an initial 6-month contract. The role is a mix of investment support, combined with production support of the interfaces with the Front Office (including the batch scheduling and Markit EDM).

You will have experience in at least one order management/portfolio management application such as thinkFolio, Charles River, Latent Zero or Longview; or in a similar hosted platform such as BRS Aladdin.

In addition, some experience is required of Markit EDM (Cadis as was) or a similar data management/data warehouse platform (such as Eagle PACE). As a primarily Front Office role in support of fund managers and traders, you will have broad asset class experience (in Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives), and good experience of the end-to-end trade flow and process as a whole.

Technical skills in a job scheduling tool such as Control-M or Autosys are desirable, and intermediate level knowledge of SQL with some Excel VBA.
