Our client, a leading financial services firm based in the Northwest, are seeking an experienced Applications Support Team Lead to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work from the firms Manchester or Liverpool office supporting a wide range of bespoke and 3rd party applications and related services. They will also be supporting a wide variety of internal and external users.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading applications focused support teams and have experience of MS Windows OS Servers. Knowledge of a scripting language as well as multi-tiered architecture and network issues would be highly beneficial. The client are open to experience in any industry although candidates coming from regulated environments such as financial services or gambling would be preferred.
Experience required:
- Over 2 years’ experience leading an application support team or function.
- Hands on experience of MS Windows OS Server editions.
- Knowledge of any scripting language such as PowerShell or VBScript would be highly beneficial.
- Hands on experience with issue tracking systems e.g. ServiceNow.
- Demonstrable experience supporting basic network issues.
