Automation Test Analyst, Investment Manager, Java, C#, Selenium, Automation, QA
Our client, a global investment manager, is seeking an Automation Test Analyst to join them on a permanent basis in Birmingham. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automation frameworks, as well as the maintenance of automated test scripts, extending their usefulness and validity.
Key responsibilities:
- Building automation frameworks from scratch/ maintaining already existing automation frameworks
- Execute simple (1 to 50 validation points) and moderate (51 to 199 validation points) automated test scripts
- Update test scripts, where necessary to correct previous failures.
- Identify and update test data for successful test script execution.
Key skills
- Experience with test automation and management tools, e.g., Selenium Web Driver, WinApp Driver, Azure DevOps, Postman
- Understanding of Object-oriented Programming, C#/VB.Net, Powershell, Visual Studio
- Java and C# coding languages
- Application development or other relevant experience
- Experience with coding UI testing, e.g., Microsoft UI Automation
- Understanding of web technologies:ASP.Net/MVC, REST Services, JSON
