Our client, a leading Financial Services Organisation based in the city, are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their Responsibility Programme working on a large-scale migration project of data from on-premises to newly created Azure data lakes.
The role is paying up to £105,000 for a 12-month FTC and will have a hybrid work working model.
The successful candidate will be play a key-role in providing support to development teams as they conduct a warehouse migration into Azure, as well as automating and making enhancements to the platform.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience with DevOps, as well as solid expertise in designing and utilising DevOps frameworks scalable for the Cloud.
Desired skills:
- Experience in a similar DevOps or Cloud Engineering Role
- Proven experience architecting Azure Cloud environments
- Experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform in an Azure environment
- Ability to write YAML pipelines to support CI/CD processes
- Financial Services background preferred
- Strong understanding of the software development life-cycle including Agile principles
