Business Analyst - Contract - Inside IR35 - Hybrid London
My client is a leading global investment management business looking to hire a Business Analyst within their PMO & Projects team. The role will report into the Head of Business Analysis and will involve working closely with all areas of the business including Investment teams, Risk, Legal, Client, Regulatory Reporting, IT and Sales. The project focus includes enhancements, integrations and various ad-hoc requests.
The Business Analyst is expected to:
• Produce key documents (planning, requirements, functional specifications, test cases, TOMs etc.) and adhere to Agile processes. This will be across Front office, Back office, Regulatory and Data requirements.
• Perform functional testing and support the business in UAT.
• Coordinate and lead meetings/workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stand in as Scrum Master as required including facilitating scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and supporting the team in problem solving, successful delivery and continuous improvement.
• Engage with vendors and perform RFP/RFI assessments.
The successful Business Analyst will possess:
• Strong Investment Management business analysis experience within a project context.
• Fixed Income instrument, trade flow and other asset management domain knowledge.
• Previous experience in working closely with software delivery teams and liaising with developers.
• Agile delivery experience.
• Strong technical understanding of IT systems/databases.
• Excellent SQL skills.
