A global Investment Management firm are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join their growing IT team as they embark on a revolutionising transformation for the firm.
 
Working in a small team, the primary goal is to improve levels of Cyber Security, working closely with third parties and the existing IT team using a Microsoft security stack and Network Security tools. A team that has been newly created and have just established their Security strategy, with the need of proactive and entrepreneurial team members to come up with new ideas and push forward the strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
-Day-day cyber security activities, including incident and event management
-Log analysis, prevention testing, red team exercises
-Assist in development of security and operations tools
-Identify anomalies within the network system
-Maintain phishing test programmes and support user awareness
-2nd level support
-Assist end users and ensure high level service improvements
 
Key Skills:
-Troubleshooting the Microsoft security stack
-Network Security – WAN/LAN/WI-FI
-Meraki Firewalls
-Cyber security qualification e.g., CEH, CCSP, CISSP etc
-Proactive, ability to ‘get things done’
-Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
