Lead Architect – Framework, Design, Standards, Regulation, Strategy, Financial Services – £750 p.d. - £850 p.d Inside IR35

My client, a well established Fintech in the regulatory intelligence space, is seeking a Lead Architect to join their team on a contract basis for an initial 6 months. This is a primarily a remote role with some travel to their London offices when required.
You will be working directly with the CTO, responsible for defining and maintaining the architectural frameworks and overseeing end to end integration to ensure everything aligns with the company’s strategic goals. Further to this you will be providing technical leadership and guidance across the development teams. They want someone who has a strong Tech background with Financial Services or better yet a start-up environment. 

The ideal skillset would include:
  • Extensive experience as a Lead Architect within a regulated environment (preferably FS or a Start-Up)
  • Good understanding across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Strong understanding of architectural styles and design patterns
  • Proven understanding in at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python, etc.)
  • Proven experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) designing scalable cloud solutions
