Our client, an investment management firm based in the City, are seeking a Data Analyst to join their Operations team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of various data feeds and carrying out daily data validations as well as testing new systems.
The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years’ experience in a data environment working on ensuring the quality of data is maintained in investment systems, ensuring data feeds from service providers and market data vendors are processed. An ability to perform root cause analysis, support testing and implementation and improving processes and controls is essential.
Skills required:
- Up to 5 years’ data experience in Asset Management
- Experience having worked with Fixed Income and Equities
- Experience with systems such as Bloomberg, Thinkfolio and Markit EDM is desirable
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge and VBA for Excel and SQL would be desirable
