A Data Developer/Engineer is needed by a world leading Financial Services Data Analytics organisation on a contract basis. This will be working on all aspects of their data repository for “people data”. This will include data sourcing, data downloading, data transformation, data validation, data clean-up, imputation, classification, aggregation/stratification, and data report generation.
Furthermore, you will be involved in a major project to transition from the current tactical data source to the new CDE-Snowflake strategic solution.
Experience Required
- Development, performance tuning, and experience with data warehouse and ETL technology
- SQL Server, Access
- Power BI
- Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum and full SDLC experience
- Carry out thorough quality assurance and testing of work
Desirable Skills
- Snowflake
- VBA (Access/Excel)
- SSIS/Python/Powershell
