Our client, a tier one Investment Management firm is seeking a data engineer to join them on a contract basis. They are looking to replace their legacy OMS with a cloud hosted solution, and they are looking to re-platform and upgrade their applications. This role will sit within their Front Office and cover Risk, Performance, Attribution, Measurement and Analytics.
This role will initially be offered outside IR35 till March and then transition to an inside IR35 contract.
This will ideally suit someone who has recent experience working within the Financial Services as a Data Engineer who has extensive experience with application and data development.
You will need to have experience with:
- Python
- Databricks or Apache Spark
- Azure or AWS
- Cosmos/Snowflake
- Experience working within Financial Services
- Experience working within the Front Office
- Understanding of Risk, Performance, Attribution, Measurement and Analytics.
