Data programme manager – Insurance - Data - Agile - Azure

A Lloyd's market insurer are looking for a Data Programme manager to join their Technology & Data department on a permanent basis.

A company that is pushing their data strategy to new heights with Data being a key focus for the businesses growth moving forward.

A vital role for the organisation, you will be responsible for delivering projects surrounding data transformation and modernisation as part of the firm’s digital strategy. The key responsibility will be to track the roadmap across the different project teams, including data engineering, analytics, and data science.


You will be responsible for;
-outlining programme plans, develop strategy across multiple projects
-breakdown of the structure across projects, identifying the key deliverables
-manage risks, track progress, delegate tasks and track milestones
-collaboration with all project stakeholders, ensuring smooth handovers and regular updates
-working directly with technical and business teams
-line managing, liaising with Project Managers across the data team
-working to set timescales in an agile manner
-producing high quality documentation and reports


We are looking for someone who has;
-proven experience as a data orientated programme manager
-experience working with executive stakeholders and managing multi-million pound programmes
-prior experience delivering business change and data transformation
-ability to influence others, with excellent communication skills
-technical background, with ability to incorporate best practices within the data industry
-Knowledge of Azure and cloud based technologies
-Prince 2, MSP, PMP
-Knowledge of London Insurance market or general insurance beneficial but not essential
