Data Tech Lead – AWS / OBIEE / EDW / ETL / ELT / Media – London - Up to £750 inside IR35

A global media and events organization based in London is looking to recruit a Data Tech Lead with a focus on data lake platforms.
This role is within an existing team in the business and is looking for someone who can design and develop the business data and reporting systems.

Key responsibilities:
In this role, you will be producing artifacts and providing guidance to the existing development team.
Your main responsibility will be to design and develop the company's data and reporting systems and to convey technical information to various stakeholders within the business.
You will also be providing knowledge of data systems, having a strong understanding of how these systems impact ongoing implementations. 
Additionally, you will provide solutions at the code level and spend time coding to resolve any ongoing system issues.
Leading developers and breaking down their problems into smaller services, making it straightforward to develop and maintain.

Key Experience required: 
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI, Data Lakes, Virtualization, and at least one ERD modeling tool.
Previous demonstrable experience with OBIEE and EDW is required.
Previous experience as a Technical Lead or Architect is preferred. Having knowledge of Data Lake, Virtualization, and experience with cloud data platforms is essential.
Prior experience leading a team and migrating data warehouses to big data platforms is highly desirable.
