They are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic individual to guide the organisation through their DevOps journey. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and optimise DevOps strategies tailored to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing infrastructure, development workflows, and deployment practices.
- Provide expert guidance on the selection and implementation of DevOps tools, technologies, and practices to enhance software delivery pipelines, automation, and infrastructure scalability.
- Utilise cloud platforms, specifically Azure, to build scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Implement containerisation and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to enable seamless deployment and scaling of applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven extensive experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer, Consultant, Architect, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong proficiency with containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and software development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ocassional onsite work will be required in either Nottingham or Edinburgh office locations so applicants must be willing to travel when required.
This is an initial 6 month contract, offering an Inside IR35 day rate.
