A leading media organisation is looking for a Head of Software Engineering IAM, to provide proactive leadership to the engineering development teams, ideally based in Leeds but they will consider London. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing team of 15 squads totalling 140+ highly talented and motivated software professionals. This role owns the Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, this is a highly visibility and important function within this world leading media giant.

We are looking for a strong leader, coming from a hands-on technical background with experience of creating high performing Agile squads and a solid appreciation of DevOps principles and practises. Someone with IAM product experience would be ideal but a customer focused environment such as media, telecoms or utilities would also be considered.
- A track record of building, retaining, and managing a world class software engineering team to deliver the IAM product roadmap and all things relating to the customers digital Identity
- Extensive hands-on technical development experience prior to leading high performing software teams developing cloud-based services, backend, frontend, and mobile apps.
- Develop and articulate the strategy and vision for the engineering team, refine and improve the engineering approach
- In conjunction with the wider leadership team, you will be responsible for creating a team structure capable of scaling to meet the ever-demanding strategic digital demand from the wider company group.
