Our client, a leading financial services organization based in the City, are looking for an Infrastructure Services Lead to join them on an initial 9-month contract. This role sits within their infrastructure team and will be a project-based role focusing on their messaging infrastructure – predominantly Exchange.
This role will involve upgrading and decommissioning Domain controllers and Exchange servers, as well as, implementing changes to Azure/O365. You’ll be responsible for analyzing the client’s messaging estate to identify and implement improvements.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Exchange, and ideally will have used 3rd party mail providers, such as ProofPoint or Mimecast. You’ll also have excellent working knowledge of Windows operating systems from 2008 through to 2019 and a good understanding of 2019 Active Directory.
Skills required:
- A proven track record of implementing, managing and maintaining messaging environments
- Migrations from Exchange on-premise to Exchange Online including mailbox migrations
- Extensive experience in administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environment and Azure tenancy
- Good working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Trust Relationships, domain functional level upgrades and High Availability technologies
