A leading investment bank is seeking a talented kdb+ Developer to join their team based out of Canary Wharf on a permanent basis.
The team is working with 80 billion updates a day across the globe, specifically related to real-time market data. As a key member, you will be responsible for end to end delivery of entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals.
This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with a large-scale platform, whilst developing and building on a kdb+ database. A firm understanding of such practices, coupled with a familiarity working with large datasets is essential for this position.
Candidates must have:
- 3-4 years’ experience with kdb+
- Real Time Market Data experience
- Prior experience developing and building on kdb+ Databases
- Familiarity working with large datasets (1,000 TB >)
- Financial Services experience
