Principal Full Stack Developer – Java – ReactJS – Financial Services – Spring

Our client, a leading investment banking services firm based in Canary Wharf, are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their FX Overlay team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a globally distributed team sitting with the business to continue the development of strategically important platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Java development and will have worked in a full stack capacity utilising React (preferred) or Angular on the front end. They will also be comfortable liaising directly with business stakeholders, have experience making architectural design decisions and have unit testing experience. Any experience with Spring, SQL and financial services would be beneficial.

Experience required:
  • Over 5 years hands-on Core Java Development experience.
  • Over 3 years hands-on development experience with ReactJS (preferred) or Angular.
  • Experience with Spring, SQL and Unit Testing.
  • Experience within the front office of an investment bank or asset management firm would be preferred.
  • Experience working within an agile environment.
This is a permanent role paying up to £130,000 (DOE) plus Circa 20% bonus and additional benefits.
