My client, a fast paced and global investment Bank and highly influential financial services company in the City of London are hiring for a permanent Production Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Global FX Information Technology team, providing front line support to their trading and FX applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience in front office trading technology, FX and the ability to work autonomously. This will be a great opportunity for you to showcase you Unix, SQL and Database experience when providing support with programme or scripting languages. You will be working within a team of 40 to supporting the team on a waide range of projects based on client focus but having the opportunity to develop you Software Development, testing and deployment skills within a fast paced environment.
To be successful you will need:
- Experience in front office trading technology, FX or anything in a similar background
- Familiarity with application development lifecycle and production management best practices
- Advanced skills with Unix, SQL and knowledge of Oracle Databases
- Knowledge of Network fundamentals and business fundamentals of Fixed Income Currencies (trading)
