job Title : Quantative Financial Model Developer
Duration : 3 month FTC - likely to be extended 
Salary : £75,000 - £100,000 
Ideally 3 or 4 days a week in City of London office

A genuinely fantastic opportunity to cover someone who is moving internally within the company. You will come in on a 3 month FTC with the likeliness to be extended beyond that 

The client 

A British infrastructure investment company that specialises in developing, investing in, and managing a diverse range of infrastructure assets. 

The role 

This role involves supporting the Asset Management Team in maintaining and operating the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Platform.

Responsibilities include

- Developing and maintaining reports for the ERM Platform, understanding the platform's modeling framework, and assisting in Project Reboot.

-Unit testing, collaborating with third-party validators, writing model documentation, and contributing to the certification process.

- Analyzing large datasets for meaningful insights, providing ad hoc modeling support to the Finance Team, and collaborating with various teams on modeling requirements and scenarios. 

Tech stack : MS Access, VBA, Transact -SQL, Excel, Power Bi 


You'll have 

- Degree in Comp Science, Mathematics, Economics - ideally from Red Brick University 

- 10-15+ years of experience in Big 4, insurance, or commercial banking

- Accounting qualifications or relevant finance accounting and financial modeling experience

- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a confident command of English are essential, with a second language being advantageous.

- Expertise in Microsoft Access and Excel programming (VBA, Transact-SQL), SQL Server, , Power Platform, Power Bi 

- Familiarity with SAS, Matlab, AtRisk, R, or similar technologies is an advantage.
