A Front-End React Developer is currently sought after by a leading Tier 1 Investment bank to join one of their Foreign Exchange (FX) engineering teams. This team work directly with the business and other engineering teams to deliver greenfield UIs that are critical to the day-to-day running of the banks FX Trading.
You would be required to collaborate with your peers to write code and engage with business stakeholders to ensure the correct requirements are being delivered to, alongside implementing design solutions whilst following a test-first approach.
To be successful in this role, you would need the following:
- 2 – 5 years’ experience using React.js experience is essential
- Strong hands-on skills with JavaScript/TypeScript and understanding of core UI principles
- Experience translating UX designs and wireframes into high-quality codes.
- Previous experience working in an agile environment, preferably following Test-Driven Development
- Financial service experience is beneficial, but not essential.
