A React Engineer is sought after by a data analytics/intelligence business who have set themselves up to be a specialist in the climate change/carbon offsetting space. The primary aim of the work will be to improve their client-facing setup by integrating their external site with their core platform to allow highly efficient data transfer and access.
The current team set up is 9 full-stack engineers, so they are looking for a front-end specialist to take over key driving responsibilities of the client side, working in collaboration with the rest of the team. You would be required to use front-end technologies such as React and TypeScript, in order to expand upon the current codebase (which is relatively young dating back to September 2021), alongside extensive usage around AWS cloud technology.
To be successful in this role you would need the following.
- Strong hands-on experience coding in React is essential.
- Good knowledge of front-end technologies, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, HTML is required.
- Complete understanding of the SDLC, alongside prior experience delivering a project end-to-end is preferred.
- Prior cloud technology experience is beneficial, especially AWS.
- Educated to a BSc/MSc in computer science is beneficial, but not essential.
