Our client is a leading insurance firm operating through Lloyd’s of London in the City. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Reinsurance Technician to join their team and contribute to their continued success.
Within this role, you will participate in all aspects of the administration of the outwards reinsurance programme from post-placement to claim recoveries.
You will be liaising with key internal stakeholders, namely underwriters, claims, finance and actuarial as well as dealing with brokers & reinsurers in respect of credit control and/or any disputes.
Successful candidates will:
- Demonstrate sound Reinsurance knowledge – a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in reinsurance within the Lloyd's market.
- Understand the full end to end ceded reinsurance process from placement through to credit control.
- Have advanced Excel skills.
- Have experience working in the Lloyd’s market and a good understanding of Lloyd’s reporting.
