My client, a leading regional building society, is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project/Programme Manager to join their Midlands (Birmingham) based office on a 9 month initial contract basis, with the view to extend. This will be a hybrid model with 50/50 split between on site and remote.
This is high priority Project of work you will be taking over, and is a new role within the change and IT family, in order to acknowledge the increased delivery of IT security projects. You will ensure the business and technology initiatives align with the strategic objectives of the building society and Security Principles. This will include creating impact assessment and solution options and ensure business and customer impacts are understood and delivered to high quality. You will need a strong understanding and experience of Cyber Security in order to communicate between technology and business stakeholders, with the ability to define and deliver to tight deadlines for cyber security initiatives.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Proven Senior Project / Programme Manager experience within the Financial Services
- Proven ability to delivery a multi project portfolio in across a Cyber Security Programme
- Previous delivery of Cyber Security Projects including IAM/PAM/3rd Party Risk
- Extensive stakeholder management experience and excellent communication skills
- CISSP OR CISM qualified would be desirable
- Understand of NIST
- Experience managing matrix projects teams and £multi-million budgets
- Experience managing 3rd party relationships
- Proven management of a technical team
